Terms and Conditions of Use

Last updated: 3 November 2026

1. Who we are and what we do

timi.mx is operated by TIMI Agente de Seguros y de Fianzas, S.A. de C.V. (“Timi”), an insurance agent located at Aristóteles 3116, Col. Vallarta San Jorge, C.P. 44690, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Timi helps you get quotes and buy insurance from insurers. Timi is not the insurer: the policy is issued and backed by the insurer you choose, and its general conditions govern the coverage.

2. Products we offer

Availability, territories and coverages depend on each insurer and are shown to you in the quote before you pay.

3. The artificial intelligence assistant

The chat uses an artificial intelligence assistant. It can make mistakes. What counts for your purchase is the information in the quote, the summary shown before payment and the issued policy. If something does not match, write to timi@timi.mx before paying. The digital assistant is available 24 hours a day, every day. For help from a person, write to timi@timi.mx, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Central Mexico time.

4. Quotes and prices

5. Your information must be accurate

You state that the information you provide (driver, vehicle, use, address, dates) is true and complete. Incorrect or omitted information can change the price, prevent issuance or lead the insurer to reject a claim. If anything changes after you buy, tell us.

6. Payment and issuance

7. Cancellations, refunds and claims

Cancellation, premium refunds and claims handling are governed by the terms of the insurer’s policy, and Timi helps you manage them. For a claim, follow the procedure in your policy and let Timi know.

8. Acceptable use of the site

You agree not to use timi.mx for unlawful activity, to impersonate another person, to enter false information on purpose, to automate bulk queries or to try to breach the security of the service.

9. Communications

Timi contacts you through the chat, email and, if you share your phone number, WhatsApp. SMS messages require separate opt-in. The terms and how to opt out are in the Privacy Policy.

10. Responsibility

Timi acts as an intermediary. Coverage, claim payments and policy conditions are the insurer’s responsibility. Timi works to keep the service available and accurate but does not guarantee it will run without interruption or error.

11. Privacy

How your personal information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes and contact

Timi may update these Terms and will publish the current version, with its date, on this page. Contact: timi@timi.mx.
